Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will
clash today in Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi in a match of Indian Premier
League 2020. Both the sides seem strong on paper. KKR has 10 points from 9
matches while RCB has 12 points with the same number of matches. But before the

Kolkata Knight Riders – KKR

Kolkata Knight Riders or KKR franchise is owned by Bollywood actor
Shahrukh Khan, Juhi Chawla and her husband Jay Mehta. The franchise came into
existence in 2008 and represents the city of Kolkata. The team qualified for
playoffs for the first time in 2011.  KKR
has won the IPL finals for the first time in 2012 by defeating Chennai Super
Kings (CSK) and the second time in 2014 by defeating Kings XI Punjab. The
team’s official theme is Korbo, Lorbo, Jeetbo. Eoin Morgan is the captain of
KKR. He replaced Dinesh Kartik as a captain in the middle of serries.

Eoin Morgan (Captain)

Eoin Morgan, full name Eoin Joseph Gerard Morgan, is currently the
captain of KKR.  His nickname is
Moggie/Morgs. Eoin Morgan’s wife is Tara Ridgway. He is an Irish cricketer and
captain of the English cricket team. As far as his IPL career is concerned, he
has changed several sides before joining KKR. He was a part of RCB in 2010.
From 2011 to 2014 he was with KKR. In 2015 and 2016 he was with Sunrisers
Hyderabad (SRH). In 2017, He was a part of Kings XI Punjab.

Dinesh Karthik

Born on 1 June 1985 in Chennai, Dinesh Karthik is a wicket keeper
batsman. In IPL he was a part of KKR. Dinesh Karthik was the captain of KKR
team for 2020 but he was replaced by Eoin Morgan in the middle of the IPL 2020.
He has been part of various teams before joining KKR in 2018. His nickname is
DK. His wife is Dipika Pallikal.

Shubhman Gill

Shubhman Gill is a right-hand batsman from Punjab. He caught attention
with his batting in under 19 world cup 2018 which India Won. He joined Kolkata
Knight Riders (KKR) in 2018.  He made ODI
debut in 2019 against New Zealand. He comes from Fazilka in Punjab where his
family owns agricultural land.

Andre Russell

Andre Russell is a Jamaican cricketer who plays for KKR in IPL. He is a
right-hand batsman who also does right arm fast bowling. In international
cricket, he plays for West Indies. Besides KKR, he has also played for Delhi
Daredevils.

Sunil Narine

Sunil Narine is an allrounder with KKR. He is equally good with ball and
bat.  Born on 26 May 1988 in Arima,
Trinidad and Tobago, he plays for West Indies team in international cricket. He
is known his right arm off break bowling and left-handed batting.

Royal Challengers Bangalore – RCB

Royal Challengers Bangalore or RCB is an Indian Premier League franchise
representing Bangalore. The franchise that came into existence in 2008 is owned
by United Spirits. The franchise name Royal Challengers comes from the unit’s
spirits major brand Royal Challenge. Virat Kohli is the captain of RCB. The
team has never won the IPL but has been a runner up three times in 2009, 2011
and 2016.  The team holds the record for
the highest and lowest total of 263 and 82 respectively.

Besides being the captain of RCB, Virat Kohli is also the captain of the

Chikoo. His wife is Anushka Sharma who is an actress. He is a right-handed
batsman while his bowling style is right arm medium.

AB de Villiers

AB de Villiers is a South African cricketer who plays for RCB in IPL
2020. He was born 17 February 1984 at Warmbad, Transvaal Province in South
Africa. His nicknames are Mr. 360 and ABD. His wife is Danielle Swart. He is a
right-handed batsman and wicketkeeper. Before joining RCB he has also played
for Delhi Daredevils.

Devdutt Padikkal

Devdutt Padikkal is a left-handed Indian batsman who plays for RCB. He
was born on 7 July 2000 in Edappal. Padikkal has also been part of India Under
19 cricket team. In domestic cricket, he plays for Karnataka.

Mohammed Siraj

Mohammed Siraj is a right-arm medium-fast bowler who plays for Royal
Challengers Bangalore.  He has also
played for India in ODIs and T20s. Besides bowling, he also does right hands
batting. Before Joining RCB he played for SRH.

Navdeep Saini

Navdeep Saini, full name Navdeep Amarjeet Saini is a right-arm fast
bowler. He was born on 23 November 1992 in Karnal Haryana. He comes from a
humble background and his father is a driver with Haryana government. He has
been playing for RCB since 2018. He played for Delhi Daredevils in IPL 2017.
